Printing mode automatically changes to Landscape

I need to print in three different types of custom size papers, small-medium-large..


I have made an application in .NET from which the user will select a Paper Size, design and send it to a printer.


I have created Custom Paper size in printer driver preferences.

 

For Small and Large size it is printing as per the design application (designed in portrait mode). No issue in using that.

 

I tried to print the Medium size to CutePDF engine.
PDF is generating fine with the necessary layout and paper size.

 

I tried to print the file from PDF, then also its changing to Landscape orientation.

I have loaded the paper in the same direction/orientation like other two paper sizes.

 

the only difference I could notice is width > height(length)..
is it creating the problem?

PS: I cannot change the feed direction of the paper, since other process depends on this orientation.

WINDOWS 10 64BIT
HP LASERJET 9050 Printer
Driver Used: HP Universal Printing PCL 6

Good day,

 

I have a HP laserjet p2055dn it is hanging on initializing i have tried every answer that i saw. i have also tried another toner and cleaned the contacts on the chip problem is still there. and did plug it in direct from the wall. please can somebody help me out here??

After a software update I get "Supplies memory error"

 My printer prompted me to perform an update last night, after completion the screen displayed "Supplies memory error" and all four cartridge were flagged as faulty. When I replaced the third party cartridges with spent HP originals the error disappeared and printer functioned. The moment I try and replace an HP cartridge with full 'third party' cartridges it errors again.


So the price for a new set of cartridges is about ~£450 and the third party ~£185

 

So my question is has HP deliberately updated their software to prevent usage of third party cartridges - I thought their was an EU law against this?

Double sided printing problems.

I have a problem with this printer, in that double sided printing multi-page documents causes a jam to be detected in the right hand cover. When checking there is a page about to enter the duplexer, and a page just leaving the input tray, but none of the pages are actually jammed. If I just close the cover without removing the paper, the printer goes into checking the paper path, ejects two pages (one with one side of print, the other blank) then goes on to attempt the first page again, and the same happens.

 

This only happens for double sided documents with 3 pages or more (i.e. more than 1 sheet of paper), and it doesn't matter which tray the input is from (Tray1, 2 or 3).

 

Two page (1 double sided sheet) documents print without problem, as do multi-page single sided documents. If I send the document one sheet at a time (page 1-2, pause until the page has entered the duplexer, page 3-4 etc.) everything is fine. The problem seems to occur as the second sheet is being picked up from the tray at the same time the first sheet is about to enter the duplexer.

 

Is there a way to delay the pick up of the next sheet from the input tray? It only needs a fraction of a second and everything works fine.

All the led's are lit MFP M125a

Hello,
When I turn on the printer, all the led's lit, and I can't do anything.
I allready try to update firmware, or install driver but, my win10 PC can not "see" the printer.
It shows me "unspecified" device, and the driver can not find the printer.
Can you give me some tips, for... I don't know... hard reset or something.

Hp M125a Printer. copy document in zoom of x1.0. copy more than 1 copies bring error 6 on display.

I am having aproblem with my 2months old hp m125a printer. it  prints and copies documents in zoomed x1 size, if you command more than 1 copy it prins Error 6 on the display. ave tried to reset it but cant reset ave keep on trying severallyb but i have not succeeded. please help.

Horizontal Lines Printing when changed cartridge

I have been out of cyan and magenta for a couple weeks and decided to change them yesterday with authentic HP cartridges.  NOw when I print anything it comes out with every color of horizontal lines throughout the entire page.  I have calibrated and done the cleaning option.  I'm not sure what else to do.  Everything looks fine on the cartridges.  Is there something else I can try to clean?

Envelopes printing lighter after removing a paper jam

I had a paper jam and I had to remove it from the front. Now when i print envelopes they print lighter than my regualr printing. It doesn't matter if I am just doing one or a stck of them.

LaserJet 400 Printing Issues

We are having issues with one computer on the network. We receive a memory error message, turn off and on the printer, and when that happens only 1 computer cannot print. The printer doesn't accept or read that there is a job waiting in the waitlist. However, once the other computers have restarted they no longer have printing issues. How do I fix the one computer on the network so it has the ability to print?

won't copy or print.

From "ready" state, will not print docs in queue. Won't suck in or copy a front loaded original. Won't give demo sheet: instead, gives error 79 turn off and on. But this has no effect either.

We have been experiencing issues with CP5225n. Some of the fonts are not printing properly. We have a very inexpensive LJ1022 which prints out the file perfectly. Files are on PDF embeded fonts. Tried looking for post script driver did not help.

Also have tried installing the driver again and that did not work either. Can anyone help?

I have a Laserjet Pro 200  MFP m276nw that is displaying "jam in print paper path. Open tray 1 and rear door". I have searched this printer high and low, I have removed the fuser and checked for debris or sensor flags stuck/broken. I can find nothing to explain the error and have run out of ideas. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. The error appears as soon as the printer is powered on, whether it is attached to computer or not.

Laserjet 5000 won't print 11x17

I have a Laserjet 5000 attached to a Dell mini-tower that was recently upgraded from WIndows 7 to Windows 10.  Since the upgrade, it has lost the ability to print in 11x17 size. The preview looks fine and the printer does pick up the right size paper however it reduces the print to 8.5x11.  Currently it has PCL6 driver installed.

I suspect this may be caused by driver incompatibility but it being an older printer, the only driver available is the Universal Print Driver. If I try to install that, I can't even print a test page. It simply says something to the effect of 'There was an error in printing to this device' but no details. Currently it has PCL6 driver installed. Print and Scan Doctor is unable to find or fix the problem.

I'm looking for guidelines or ideas for fixing this problem. Thank you.
