I have an OKI printer and an HP Printer. Both printers print barcodes. The OKI prints them nice and dark. The HP does not.
I have the settings on Dark print but I don't know if there is another setting somewhere that i can change to get this to print darker. I called support and have been waiting 2 days now for a response.

this printer is lightly used and bought new in may 2014. We're now geeting blue smudges down the page sides when printing. im looking for some guidence in determining the part that needs to be replaced. I checked the sevice manual for this problem and troublshooting does not describe this problem. cleaning seems to only only make it worse. my best guess is transfer belt, but id like to know for certain before throwing parts at it.
ive cleaned everything by hand, replaced the blue cartridge, ran about 10 clean jobs, did a transferbelt clean from the hidden menu. same result. now it appears that yellow is starting to smudge. any help is appriciated.
I am looking for some help to get this printer working as I have lost the paper feed tray extension.
I am just trying to be able to use it to print on A4 page size but the printer keeps thinking I am in manual feed mode, I have disabled the manual feed mode in the settings but that doesnt seam to fix the problem. the only 2 options it gives me is manual feed or tray 1
any suggestions ? or do i maybe have the wrong driver installed ? I am printing using my USB cable directy to my compuyter

I have this problem, that when I start up my printer, there is this message in the window:
Dwnld filE now. RFU FILE ERROR, RESEND FILE OVER PARALLEL PORT.
But thr big issue is, that I don´t have a parallel printer port at my laptop and vhen I try to connect via USB I get another error 49.ff04 saying something about data tranfer error.
I tried to make a cold start but it didn´t seem to have any effect when I pressed the select button, vhen "Cold Start" was shown in the display.
Anybody in for good ideas
And could anybody tel me the adress on the excact win10/32bit firmware.

We have a Color Laserjet CP3525dn in a small office. The printer is connected to Windows 7 64 bit professional computer by USB. It recently began printing very slowly:
- Starts printing immediately.
- No pause between sheets.
- The sheets themselves print out slowly regardless if it's in color or grayscale
- Happens even if the print job is 1 or 2 pages
- Prints at regular speed if printing diagnostic sheets from the printer control console.
The fact that it'll print normally from the printer itself rules out a hardware issue, but usually driver issues will not affect speed, but rather if the job prints out at all, or has poor print quality. From what I can tell, the print quality is the same, it's just going very slowly. What settings could affect this?
My printer was working fine but then suddenly stopped communicating with my surface pro 2. i go to hp and download drivers for printer but when i run it says it is not compatable. hp says on printer spec it is compatable with surface pro 2 and it was working fine before. what are my options?
I have a OfficeJet 8100. I don't always have the 2-side printing box to check. Sometimes all that is there is 'collate'.
It seems when I print from the preview the 2-side option will be there, but not when I print from word or excel

I just installed this printer and it will print a test page as well as printing from most applications. However, when I try and print from a vendor's application I get this error message: Failed to create printer device context. I have checked the firewall settings and they are correct. I disabled the antivirus to no effect. I then installed a new USB connection on a different port and it worked once, but came up with the same message on the second try. Any suggestions?
I am trying to install the driver for a Laserjet P2035n on my Mac Powerbook which is running on Mavericks. When I add the printer through system preferences, it says "software for this printer isn't available from Apple"
Then when I try to manually select the software, this printer series is not listed.
But when I go the to HP site and try to download the driver directly, the website says "The HP drivers install through the Apple Software Update feature on your Mac computer."
But as we saw earlier, Apple doesn't support software for this printer. There are no printer updates cued in my Apple Software update feature. What am I supposed to do? Don't want to download the driver from a sketchy third party website. Is this printer simply incompatible with my computer? Thanks in advance for your help!
My printer suddenly stopped printing wirelessly a few weeks ago and now it wont even print using a usb cable.
I have downloaded all the latest drivers and turned it off and back on again and check that the correct IP address is used but nothing seems to work and I am pulling my hair out over this, as I use the printer for business.

New cartridge purchased via HP online shop is showing an error message since I first tried to use it. It is the XL black cartridge, which is the first time I have used the large cartridge. It was bought as a pack and therefore the last cartridge used out of the pack, so I have had it for a few months, but it has been stored in its box.
Any ideas?
I have an HP color LaserJet cp4525dn it begins booting, goes thru its 6 self tests, initializes then once it calibrating, it then gives this error:
49.2fa7 To continue turn off then on
Turning off then back on returns the same error
Unplugging and rebooting gives the same error
disconnecting the network cable gives the same error
deleting previous print jobs that are pending gives the same error
doesnt let me cancel anything once the error message appears
any suggestions?
I just got this printer from an unused office. it prints in color only for the Configuration. When I send a print job to it, it is black only. I am using the universal printing PCL 5 and have tried PCL 5 (v6.1.0). neither made any difference. In the configuration printout all colors are printed and the toner shows 50% or higher for each color. Have tried to print color photos and documents from different programs all are grayscale no colors.
Just set up our printer and keep receiving an "Unable to connect to printer- Broken pipe" error message. We reset our printer, reset the computer, and downloaded the HP LaserJet SW OSX Mavericks software- and are still receiving the same error message.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 64 bit and still have my trusty old Laserjet 3330.
I did have some issues in the beginning with driver support for Windows 10 64 bit, but most seem to be resolved now minus a few hick ups like scanning etc.
I printed out a self test / configuration and saw my firmware is as old as the printer itself.
In my haste to find a solution to this scanning issue, I wondered if there could be any potential firmware updates since I purchased it many moons ago.
Does anyone know where, if any place, has an updated firmware version of this old printer and where to find it and how to install it?

I have an HP Laserjet III compatible printer that I was using with my HP notebook computer. The computer has Vista Ultimate. The printer has a parallel port only. A parallell port to USB cable was put on the printer as the computer has no parallell port. Several years ago I installed the printer on this computer and it was working fine until yesterday when I accidently deleted the printer when I was seeking to cancel a print job. I tried the add printer feature in the control panel but the test print either given an error message or disappears without printing. I tried plug and play but the printer is not seen and does not install. The printer drivers are believed to be part of windows but I cant find the printer drivers, there is an HP Laserjet III printer installed for LPT1 but this computer has no LPT so not sure how that was installed. Obviously that does not print the printer is not connected to the computer. How can I install this printer so it works on this computer?
I cannot install my printer driver. I only get the message "The Printer Installation Failed" there is no error number and nothing in the windows event log.
I have tried scanning and cleaning up the reisters as this printer was previously successfuly installed. I uninstalled it because it suddenly stopped printing from any internet browser although all other printing was OK.
I now cant re-install it and can find no reason why.
