I inadvertently selected Argentina when setting up my LaserJet printer for the first time. My fingers were a little shaky and so like an idiot I even managed to quickly press the confirmation dialog that came next. Now when I print certain documents - such as the HP ePrint confimation webpage - the language appears to be in Spanish even though the printer confirms that my language settings are in English.

 

Is there any way to select the correct country from an administrator service menu or something? I tried resetting the printer to Factory Defaults from the user service menu and my problem persisted. I even tried a cold reset by powering on the printer and touching the bottom right corner of the touchscreen while the printer went through it's boot process. While the cold reset worked, unfortunately my problem still persisted.

 

Is there any way to do a complete factory reset so that I can choose my language again? Is there anyone that may be able to help me with this?

I tried to print through command line using the lp command

 

  lp -p HP_LaserJet_Professional_P_1102w Document.pdf

 

The output was severely blurry

 

 

 

The document prints just fine when I use a GUI print dialog. Is there a command line option that needs to be specified in order for the command line printing to work correctly?

 

I'm on Kubuntu 16.04 client, printing through CUPS server on Ubuntu Server 16.04

1)  Previously working 

2) Recently performed Windows update

3) Computer says printer, printer not responding at all

4) Checked Windows firewall

5) Tried uninstall/install but installation won't didn't finalize ("error" after 99%.

As in the heading, I had installed HP software for my printer on my Mac with OS 10.10.5 and all looks well, it thinks it has printed and it can also not print the SAMPLE page, has no info on the Print Queue (Supply Levels) and the driver version is 2.0 for this Deskjet 1050_J410 series.

 

HP Utility is printing and lining up and all functions are OK including Ink Supply.

 

So when I installed the HP software on my other Mac with OS 10.6, it works just as expected, in as perfect color photo as a new printer will do.

 

So where is the problem, when I followed what automation is telling me to do?

There is a random hairline streak 3 -1/16" from the left edge.  I have changed all of the cartridges as well as the transfer unit.

When I start scanning a document, it only allows me preview or scan one page, I can save one page per file, then how to combine the files into one.  I read previous blogs, to open all files at once in preview, could not open, and there is no thumnails in the view to drag one page over the others.   Please help.  Screen shots may help me understand.

Need to adjust the vertical printing UP but cannot locate where to do this...

I print checks and the bottom of the routing and account numbers are on the perf...so the bank cannot process the checks...

ok, laast week this connection worked, now im trying to print from three feet away ad it will not even find the printer from my labtop from printers and devices folder. my prin ter is set on wireless but lhe labtop is not finding it. How can i do this?     

im running windows 8.1  , router is att uverse gateway, wireless printer is dell e515dw. can you help????

When I first try to print something, I first get a quick bulletin from Windows 10 that says that intervention is needed, that printer needs attention.  I can continue to try to print documents, and they all go into the printer queue but do not print.

Then when I shut down and restart, everything in the queue prints.   Any ideas?

I have installed the wireless network software. The installation went fine (I disabled Norton Firewall during the install), at the finish I ticked to print a test page and the green light on the panel started flashing, but nothing printed.  I tried printing a word document, it is in the print Q but won't print. Holding down the X button on the panel will print the device configuration page. I tried to select the "print direct to the printer" option in the control panel but it wouldn't allow that. I tried all the suggestions I can see in this form, but nothing works.

 

It seems astonishing that this is not just plug and play in 2016

Hello everyone,

 

First of all, please excuse my english, it is not my main language

 

I'm out of ideas... We used to be on Mac and everthing worked fine. We changed our computer for a Windows 10 machine and printer won't print anymore. Here's my situation:

 

We're using a HP m127fw laser multifunction printer. Drivers were properly installed. When we send a print job, the print job queue windows appears in the task bar but is empty. I tried uninstalling the driver, cleaning the registry (removed every folders/keys in relation with HP products) and all, can't fix my issue. When i launch HP Doctor to find the problem it says that there is none and can print a test page through it !!

 

Please note that i did also restore the printer to factory settings (network and printer)

 

Here let me show you some screenshots:

 

- HP Doc finds no problem and is able to print a test page.

 

 

- If i try to print a test page from Windows, i get this: (And if i click yes and let windows seek for the problem it just returns to me saying there is no problem with the printer...)

 

 

- Through the HP Printer state and alert; it just crashes and doesn't even try to print.

 

 

- From Microsoft office; no error message, nothing, just the print job queue popping in the task bar and empty (please see bottom right on the screenshot).

I made all those screen shot being setup wirelessly but i get the same problem when i'm plugged in in USB...

 

Did anyone experienced the same problem before ? Can anyone help me ?

My laserjet 6500 e710n has all of a sudden stopped working. First it wouldn't connect to router. I tried rebooting the printer by unplugging and replugging in but after this all I see now is a small power light on in the back of the printer near the plug and a thin blue line on the left side of the scanning screen.

From the printers web interface on at the printer, can I disable "touch screen/pad" input so users don't adjust paper tray settings once the our IT admin team have set them.
