By this, I would like to confirm the current firmware update 15.0.16260.1230 from March 5, 2021 can fix the problem with frozen screen. After 3 years of waiting for fix now I can use my printer again. Thank you HP.

USB connection instead of Wi-Fi
Just purchased an HP LaserJet Pro M15w printer. My dilemma is that I want to print only using the USB cable as the walls in my house are thick and it can be difficult for my mobile phone to connect at times, depending on where dI am standing. So I do not want to have a problem like this with my printer. I last purchase a basic Brother printer and the USB connection was fine for the printer.
Can you help me with just connecting the HP LaserJet Pro M15w printer with USB CABLE ONLY.
The other thing is the buttons to start printing are 1) Wii-Fi, 2) Attention LED 3) Power button/Ready LED
4) Resume/Cancel button. How would I start printing with the USB cable and press which button to start?

I have lost the EWS password for in my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28w.
After I change my wireless network, I can't do wifi printing now.
All solutions from the internet and the manual don't help.

LaserJet Pro m608X stuck at initializing and will not boot up
Hello HP Community, I have an HP Laserjet Pro M608X, networked, stuck on initializing. The only thing I can do is unplug the thing. I have done that, removed the ethernet, and the toner. no Luck. Is there anything else I can do? It is under warranty but I am hoping I can just get it back up and running now.

Only one set of HP Instant Ink Ready cartridges can be used in a printer. Remove and replace with ot
Can't print anything. After the test page was printed, I've received a message "Only one set of Instant Ink Ready cartridges can be used in a printer..." I just received the printer from the shop today along with HP Instant Ink Ready 305 (Black and colourful). On the box there is a note "Original HP Ink". I don't have any other cartridges, I also don't have any other printers. I spent 4 h trying to find a solution and nothing has worked. In the shop where I purchased the printer, nobody can help me. It is extremely annoying. I will have to send it back.

79 Service Error - restarting and disabling IPv6 didn't resolve the issue
My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw started going into a restart loop a few weeks ago. It will start up, go to an initializing screen, look like it has started up for ~30 seconds and then it will get a '79 Service Error' and then restart and do it all over again.
My printer is tied wirelessly to an Orbi mesh network which hangs off of an xfinity modem/router.
I took the following steps:
- turn off the printer
- turn off the modem/router and main orbi router (I have 3 other orbi satellites)
- wait 30 seconds
- start up the printer
- once the window shows up where I can change things, I went into Setup->Network Setup->Network Services
- I select IPv6 and click 'off'
- turn off the printer
- wait 30 seconds
- restart the modem/router and orbi router
- wait for them to become responsive
- restart the printer
...however...
The printer simply resumes it's cycle of failures.
What is the most reliable way to resolve this? Do I need to disable wireless networking altogether as well in order to help make sure it doesn't end up confused somehow?

P 1109 EWS driver error message
Printer works fine with USB connection; Cannot get P 1109w to connect wirelessly. Get an error message about unable to get to home page or EWS. The settings screen indicates the status as "Driver unavailable." Have spent hours uninstalling, reinstalling, HP Print Smart, etc. Tried to remove all HP printers via printui.exe /s. Cannot delete and get message that the PclmS driver is in use. Suggestions?

When I turn on printer I get this message "A problem has occured with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem." Touch screen wont do anything and I have not even had a chance to hook it up to internet yet.

Where can I find the CLJM477 Scan software? HP Smart does not work with my printer
I have a new computer and went to download the software and drivers for my M477 printer. I can print to it over wifi, but the HP Smart software cannot locate the printer. Consequently, I am trying to locate the CLJM477 Scan software so that I can scan with the printer. Any thoughts as to where I can find this? It does not show up in HP support or in the Microsoft Store.

Change the printer's network name at the printer?
Hello,
We have several of these printers on our network here at our company of ~ 45 people. When we want to add a printer, it would be nice to not have to go to the printer to find its name. Isn't there a way to change it at the printer? It seems like a logical feature for the 21st century.
