We've printers HP LASER JET 1020 PLUS. We're using custom paper size (8.5x6) for our bulk invoice printing but the printing speed is too slow after one print taken half minutes for next print. After 30 to 40 pages print page & printer start to heat. If we use letter or A4 sizes then we get a better speed & no problem of heating. kindly suggest me how to solve this problem.

My printer would not finish printing a document and just stayed at "printing". I tried to shut the printer off by pressing the on/off button but the screen simply says "shutting down" but it will not shut down. How do I get it to shut down without disconnecting from the mains?

The status light on my printer continually flashes red but everything prints just fine. I have managed to determine that this indication means that my imagining unit is reaching the end of its useful light - but there is still 10% left which may well take a year or more to use up. I don't want to see this light flashing every day until the imagining unit gives up the ghost so does anyone know how to turn it off. Using Easy Printer says that this warning is enabled but I can find no way to disable it?
I just got this laserjet pro m254dw, and i'm havng a problem gettign it to print checks from the tray 1/manual. I started with a single check and it grabs it and sucks it in but when I try to print I get an message on printer of "manual feed plain letter or press [ok] to use avaiable media. if i press ok it prints form tray 2. checked setup in quicken to tray 1 also. Still issues.
Hi, i am tryng to print something that i have learnt online as a new craft method. but have been told this will only work if my printer is a laser printer or if it prints with toner.
Does this printer need a toner cartridge, does it even take it ? if anyone could help that would be great!

Setting up a new printer (Color Laserjet Pro MFP M281fdw). Printer prints only on blue ink. Cant print black and white. Why? What am I doing wrong?
I had been printing successful from my iPadPro from the internet website when it stopped printing. It will print half a page and then stop. There hasn’t been any jammed paper that caused it to stop and the orange alert light is flashing. I get an error message to check the printer. I am printing through a wireless router Netgear33 and my wireless1102W .
The printer repeats the failure each time. I have looked at other reported issues on the blog and tried all options to recover.
I would like to know if it is possible to turn off the wireless printing connection between my MacBook Air and my printer, and instead, print or scan solely from the UBS connection between the two devices.

In the last few weeks, when I print photos on my HP OfficeJet Pro (on HP Photo paper), there are a series of parallel scratches on the paper.
The scratches are perpendicular to the path of the paper coming out, so the scratches are not caused by the rollers that help guide the paper out.
How can I / should I fix this?

I have an older, but great, HP P2055dn printer. I changed the cartridge and now it will not come on. It worked fine before I changed the cartridge. Plug is in and elec is not off. There is a plastic piece that fell out that looks like it goes over the roller below the cartridge but I can't figure how to get it back in.

So I am having this issue with a newly installed printer. I have tried some general trouble shooting and checked for latest drivers and firmware. I can print from a mobile device using wireless direct via the android app so i know the printer is working correctly and not faulty.
Essentially what happens is when i try to send a print job , or even the test page, it goes to spool, but then vanishes and does not print. I have tried different document types from differing sources. The printer seems to wake from sleep mode like it is receiving the job, but still no print.
I have tried to download the print doctor however it is not compatible with vista OS.
Any suggestions?

My printer suddenly stopped sending jobs to the queue. When I click print, the little printer icon shows up, but it says 'O document(s) in queue'. I have tried every solution I can find on the internet for the last 3 hours. I have no idea what to do next.
I have done the usual rebooting, etc.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and driver.
I have done the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
When I reinstall the printer, it will print a test page, but I can't get anything else to print. I am going to lose my mind.

Because my company use HP M712 printer for all document use, such as office document, pdf,program document...etc, but sometime we face one condtion as listed as below:
User print maybe 8 papers by using HP M712 printer, but they found one paper not printed . But the printer doesn't show any error message and our printer server also have the document record. How can we prevent the condition ? Thanks a lot.
I have two HP printers, one is a LaserJet 5mp, the other is a DeskJet 1120C.
Firstly both printers are connected to my home network via. Parrelel port to Ethernet adaptors.
Both worked fine until Microsoft enforced the upgrade to Win 10 Version 1803 (the creators edition ?)
Now regarding the LaserJet 5mp.
The drivers for the LaserJet 5MP worked fine with the previous version of WIN 10, I think it was 1709.
Recently I had to reinstall the drivers for both my HP printers.
When I tried to do this NO drivers for either of my printers are listed/ or available.
The drivers are apparently on a Microsoft website containing updated drivers for many brands and models of printers.
Can anyone help please?
