Help!
I have been having problems with my M225DW laserjet printer, and the scanner and copier not working.
I have tried all the suggestions on the web in terms of hard resetting etc., and I tried a "power drain" (holding the power button for 30 seconds when it is off), and now the screen reads "Scanner Error 16" and I've no idea what to do to get the printer working again.
Any ideas?

I am getting a "Menu access is disabled" message when trying to configure my Laserjet Pro 400 M401dne printer can someone tell me how to enable the Menu access?
I have done the power cycle that worked for about 10 mins just long enough to update the firmware. It then worked for a few more mins and then this "ready 2 download fw is corrupt" keeps coming up on touch screen. I have found nothing where I can get this fix to hold.

When I am printing and the document has a lot of open space between the elements/objects, the printer automatically compresses that space, placing the objects in the wrong positions. This especially problematic when printing pages from a PDF file, but it occures in other types of files as well. When I try to print a Booklet from Adobe Reader, the printer compresses the right and left margins so that the output is not centered and cannot be folded properly into a booklet.
When printing in portrait mode it will compress vertically and when printing in Landscape mode it will compress horizantally.
When I create a page in CorelDraw, I have to place a colored background object (white) to prevent the printer from compressing the open space.
How can I turn off that compression? I can't find a setting anywhere.

I need some help please. when we print on our HP Colour LaserJet MFP M377dw there is a vertical black line all down the page. I have followed the advice and cleaned all the rollers/ ADF glass but the problem still persists.
This issue does not happen when prnting from the flatbed.
Is there something else i can try?

I use narrow margins to create resumes and all of a sudden my printer is cutting off the top part of the name. I Can't figure out how to re-set.
Wireless conection problem
brand new officejet won't properly setup due to leaky cartridges. when i replace cartridges with genuie hp cartridges it tells me to replace with cartidges that came with the printer (the same ones that are leaking) tried everyything... i just keep going in circles...
anyone got any tips?
I downloaded hplip-3.17.11 and installed that (hplip-3.17.11.run) on my Mint 17.3. I also got my printer installed (using hp-setup -i), but only part of the tools seem to work, and the GUI only works partly, so I wondered if I updated to a more fresh version, but how? I didn't use the hplip from Mint repos, because the newest one is still 3.15.2 which doesn't support my printer.
Or is it better to downgrade to 3.16 series hplip? And again, how?
BTW, I tried to probe the printer using URI hp:/net/Color_LaserJet_MFP_M277dw?zc=NPIB88B68, but that didn't work.
Is there some other URI without IP? (I'd like to have the printer behind DHCP.)
I am having issues with our printer. I am trying to print a 42 page PDF document (2.6 MB). Every time I try to print it (Wireless or Ethernet) it takes forever. It prints one page, stops, takes about 15 seconds to print the 2nd page. Then on about page 23 it freezes and I get a Low Memory message and the print job gets cancelled. This is not what I expected when I purchased this printer.

We bought a Office Jet Pro 8720, last year. We find it hard to believe all of the ink cartridges run out at the same time.
Every time one of the ink cartridges runs out, we have to replace all of them. Also, this machine since day one has a hard time with heavy paper, such as, business cards, photo paper. Actually, any paper heavier than 20#, it struggles to get done. We have always used HP Printers in the past. However, we have not been too impressed with this 8720.
I have two m452dw's and am having an issue where the MacOS print queue shows as "paused" in the print queue. The printer has worked fine for a year but now it doesn't seem to be able to print anything properly. I've rebooted the printer... I've tried it both wired and wireless on the network and seem to have the same problem on both.
This is true across Mac's - each has a direct Airprint connection to the printer. I've updated to the latest firmware 20171204 and the latest drivers on the Mac version 2.0 direct from HP Easy Install.
I've gone through the basic troubleshooting steps but can't seem to get anywhere. This feels like a driver issue on the Mac, but because I'm out of warranty, it's now $49 just to talk to someone at HP.
Can anyone offer any advice? With the printer only $289 on Amazon, it seems useless to try to repair or even pay the $49 debug fee.
I changed my printer cartridge, and it didn't align properly. Now it is printing wrongly with massive spaces. I cant find an option to get it to realign again and Geek Squad couldnt help.
My printer used to print in color, automatically. Then one day, my laptop couldn't find it. I came here found the appropriate driver and the troubleshooter did all of that. It coincided during the period that HP was working on the site here, so I couldn't reach out for help. But then a few months ago, it was found and printed as it should. Now, just last month, it only prints in black and white. I changed the ink, even though it didn't need to be yet, and still black and white. I've gone into the settings on my laptop, chosen printer there is no option panel seen for printer color choices? Even if I print and click on the printer icon that pops up the panel, it only shows how many jobs are working and not the usual features of ink levels, color preferences etc.
How do I get it to print in color? Where is the option for it?

I have opened ALL of these clicking even on the ADVANCED to see if the option to print in color, and there is NOTHING like it there. Within the Printer PROPERTIES there is COLOR MANAGEMENT and I thought finally! But No, that appears to be for monitor adjustment.
So why is this so difficult to find? It should give you the option when choosing to print, right?
The virtual agent here offers no help. I mention color and it gives me how to print in black and white. Is there no live chat here either?
I'm frustrated trying to figure out this simple thing.

Had to reinstall a new AT&T Modem. Removed printer. Adding back as wireless. Have CD. Would not work to reload driver. We even tried the new option suggested, and it would not work. What is a WPS number? Please advise. Thanks.
Recently deployed several HP LaserJet M608dn printers in our mixed OS environment (e.g. Red Hat, OS X, Windows, etc.) Print services are handled by a RHEL 7 CUPS server. Printing from Linux and Windows works fine. Printing from OS X versions prior to 10.13 seem to work fine. When we try to print to the printers via 10.13.6, you can see the job in the queue and the various messages that suggests the document was printed; however, nothing is actually printed. The CUPS server also shows that the job was successfully printed. Really odd. Printing works from 10.13.6 if we print directly to the printer itself, but not if we sent the job through the print server. All prior versions before 10.13 all print through the print server without any issues. I spoke with Apple Tech Support about this but they were not able to resolve it. They suggested I contact HP. Will do that but thought I'd run this issue by the users in this forum to see if anyone else has run into this before.
