this printer gave this code, 49.2f.ff. it was conected to the network via cat 5. we deleted all the print jobs in the printer que and rebooted. it would print a blank page then generate the error code. we diconectted the printer from the network, so now it just stand alone not connected to anything, and rebooted again. tried to print a usage page, the printer gave the same error code. help please.

When trying to replace the ink, the cartridge that holds the ink will not slide over far enough
I removed the old ink cartridges in order to make sure I purchased the correct ones. I came back from the store to insert the new ones and when i opened up the cover the pieces that hold the new cartridges will not slide over to the left enough to allow me to insert the ink. I cannot even close the covers for the holders. I tried to remove the power cord from the back of the machine and put it back in hoping to reset the machine, but that did not work. Please help!

Cannot Print from LaserJet Pro MFP M130NW
I cannot print from my Laser Jet after a move. Either Wirelessly or when printer is connected by cable. When I uninstalled drivers it would not re install them as the mac could not connect to printer.
Any help would be appreciated
Edit: Sorry I am trying to set up from a MacBook Pro OS 10.13.4 (High Sierra).

Printer won't connect to wifi on new router
My LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw printer was connected to wifi no problem. Then we got a new router and I can't get the printer to connect to the new wifi. The WPS button on the router doesn't work so I'm trying to do it manually.
If I press the Wifi button on the printer, it just says 'Press WPS button on router. Press [OK] to continue'.
I cannot find a way to change the printer's SSID/password on the printer itself to connect it to the correct network.
I have tried the Wireless Network Setup on my laptop, connecting the printer via USB - it can find the network but it is unable to connect to it. I've tried typing in the password but although I'm sure it's the correct password, it says it is incorrect. When the laptop tries to communicate the wifi settings automatically to the printer it fails with an 'unknown error'.
I've tried rebooting the printer and resetting it to factory settings multiple times.
What else can I try?

How to get it to staple (printing from Mac)
I have a HP Laserjet M607 with the stacked stapling attachment. I have it connected to my Mac via USB cable and am selecting "Single staple" for finishing options when I print. But the pages come out on the printer itself (not the stacked stapling thing on top) and never get stapled. How do I make it send it via the stapler? Also the staples don't show up on the Supplies pages (in printer preferences or the embedded web page) - should they?

MFP M281fdw - No Print Quality Option
In the Printer Options dialog window, I no longer have a Print Quality option/setting (e.g., Best, etc.). I believe I'm current regarding updates to the printer, and I'm current on Windows 10 (1803). In the "Paper/Quality" tab, the Print Quality field is not updatable and has a value of "ImageREt 3600" - not 100% what that is, but it's nevertheless not updatable.

Printer sending out blank sheets of paper
I have no clue what is going on here, but out of nowhere our brand new printer started missing pages and sending out blank pages when I try to print with it. (example, I print one order and it doesn't print, it just sends out a blank page, but if I print 10 orders maybe half of the orders will be printed fine and half will just be blank pages. What is this? I replaced the toner and image drum incase they were faulty and it is still doing the same thing. Is it something internal? Thanks for any help.

"Misprint" error message
Almost every day, my HP 2840 will stop printing in the middle of a print run, and it shows "Misprint" error message. It happens with all formats: Word docs (whether the page has text or jpgs), PDFs, web pages, etc. HP has a long list of error messages for this printer, but not "Misprint"! Of course, they will not respond to my calls or emails, because the printer is out of warranty. Needless to say, it is INFURIATING!

LaserJet Pro 400 M401dne stuck in Hebrew
I'm trying to fix a LaserJet Pro 400 M401dne with the small black and white two line LCD stuck on the hebrew language. I have read several suggestions on how to fix this and most suggest a "cold reset" by holding the cancel button and the right arrow while turing on the machine. When I do this, "Permanent Storage Init" appears on the screen, but after a while that disappears and it goes back to hebrew. Any suggestions?

HP Direct Wifi Printing Not Showing Up
I have a printer that will not allow me to print using Direct Wifi from a Android tablet. Worked with HP support for 3 hours and we could not get this to work. It only displays DIRECT-06-HP M203 LaserJet if we have a USB cable connected or if the printer is plugged into the network with a ethernet cable. Did factory resets. Watch HP download and install the complete software suite and manually setup the Direct Wifi to Automatic. We want to use this printer on the road where only a Android Tablet and the Printer will be available. No Network, No PC, Just a tablet and a Printer (and power). I thought I would post on here what fixed it since I didn't see anyone else having this exact type of issue while searching around all afternoon. The only thing that would show up is HPSetup for the wifi connection when it did not have a USB cable attached to a PC or a network cable plugged in.

LaserJet Pro M102w prints ridiculously slow
I literally wait 15 seconds between each page printing!!!
- happens both while wireless & also connected USB
- I have tried two different printer cords
- it may be some sort of spooling issue because when I run out of paper and take a minute to refill, it prints normally until it catches up.
I bought this printer to replace my 7-yr-old LaserJet printer - which used all the same conditions (printer cord, same laptop & computer program printing to it). It is definitely an issue with THIS PRINTER.
Please help if you can! I am at my witt's end. I have called and the idiot blamed me, it finally worked when we tried a new cable, and immediately went back to this the next day. I HATE HP and will never buy their products again! (which is sad, because I've been buying their stuff for 20 years!)

How to change print from black and white to color in HP Officejet 4630
Am operating an HP 4630 officejet all in one printer in Windows 10. Am not able to change the default print option from black and white to color. Have been through all the steps I've seen outlined online, and the printer still prints in black and white.

Printer initialization process
I have a customer who has a LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601dn with a motor problem. When the printer is powered on, the only motors that run and function are the fans. The printer gets to a ready state, but when something is sent to the printer to print, the display shows a "Tray Lifting..." message, but nothing happens. No parts move and nothing is printed.
On the same model of a working printer, when the printer starts up and gets to the point of showing "Initializing 17," the printer starts up the various mechanical motors. This same process doesn't happen with the broken printer. I have replaced the DC controller and the High Voltage Power Supply, but neither of these solved the problem.
Does anyone know what parts are being checked when the printer reaches "Initializing 17" or know of a part problem that would prevent any of the motors from running?
Any help offerred is appreciated.

printer shows as offline wont print except test pages
Printer says it is offline, but the Wireless Network Test Report shows that everything passed. I saw on the forum that some cartridges can expire and make the printer show as offline. I can't find any dates on my cartridges. Most are from when I first bought the printer. The black one is newer. They are all running low. I updated the firmware.

Backwards display screen
Why does my display screen keep flipping backward like shown in the pictures? If I shut down the picture and restart it, the screen corrects itself but that is a slow process. Can anyone tell me why this randomly happens and any easy way to fix it?

MPF M281fdw installation - USB detection not working
I just purchased a MPF M281fdw printer and I am trying to install it following the instructions from the manual.
I am trying to install the printer using the USB cable, but when I am prompted to connect it to the PC, nothing happens.
The software doesn;t detect any printer and also on the PC i do not hear any sound of " USB device connected".
I tried to change the USB port on the PC, as well as using another USB cable (which was successfully working with the previous printer).
How should I proceed further? Do I have a way to check that the USB port on the printer is working properly?
