You would think there would be a big button that says "Reply" or "Post new message" somewhere in the thread of a question. Why would HP hide the ability for someone to post? So, my question is, how to I reply to a question on HP's upport forum?

Do any HP printers support Fax to email without having a computer connected?
Does HP have a device that will receive faxes and then forward them to an email address using an SMTP server? We do not want to have to connect a computer to the printer. The printer needs to handle this all by itself. Thanks...

Good evening.
I'm going crazy with my laserjet printer..
When I make a copy, the printing comes out from the printer with the lower part of the sheet empty, about 2 centimetres.
I tried to use the scanner without printing the image I obtain and it works perfectly without cutting the page.
I don't understand why it happens.
I can't find the margins settings anywhere.
I hope someone could help me to fix this problem.

Problème de marge
Bonjour,
j'ai besoin d'imprimer des étiquette avec notre imprimant HP Color LaserJet 3800. Le problème est que le report de mon étiquette à une marge de 4mm et l'imprimante garde une marge de 5.6mm.
J'ai besoin de changer la marge de 5.6mm pour 4mm sur l'imprimante.
Comment puis-je faire ?

Double side custom paper size Booklet print on MAC
Hello, I search already in this forum and for your information:
I have set the correct HP driver it is not air-print.
I have set a new user custom size paper that is: Width = 324mm and Height = 157mm.
I want to print as a booklet with the binder in the height side of the paper.
The option Duplex Unit in the system preference printers is ticked.
I can not make it print it does not print on both sides of the paper on any other size paper.
I can not set my custom size when select booklet Printing>Paper for booklet dropdown list does not show my custom paper and some of the standard paper sizes are gray as well.

Kit fusor no Detectado
Hola, tengo un problema con HP m680, cambie el kit fusor CE247-22v, a la semana me sigio pidiendo cambio lo hice nuevamente. No me reconoce el kit fusor nuevo, lo probe en otra m680 y esta lo detecta sin problemas. Como lo puedo solucionar.

Color LaserJet 4700 Paper Size Sensing Levers, (Machine Side), Removal Procedure
Got sent a picture of the paper size sensing levers in a 4700, or at least what was left of them, and could not find instructions on how to remove/replace them... So I figured it out on a 4700 at the office.
There is a metal shaft that goes through the levers, it must be removed, but it is press fit into a plastic frame part.
If you lay the printer on its side you can see the end of the shaft sicking out of the assembly, but there is not much to grab.
The bottom end of the shaft is visible and you can press it up using a flat blade screwdriver, that will put enough of the shaft out of the top for it to be grasped with pliers and pulled further up.
You do not need to pull the shaft all the way out, just far enough to remove the bottom lever and then the other levers can be slid down the shaft and removed.

Used BOTH Rolls of Paper
I have been tasked with finding an answer to the following problem we experienced with our new plotter.
A print job was sent to the plotter and the request was for 5 copies. Unfortunately the person sent this and then went home. The next morning both rolls had been depleted with a print job still in the queue. The person said that it was configured correctly to give one plotter print that was 42" x 96". Upon arriving the next morning we found both rolls had been used up and the media bin full of over 500 pieces of paper 42" x 11" each having a little of the print job.
Was it a software or hardware issue? User error? Has this situation ever been an issue for others?
In order to not have this happen again, we have told users to never send more than one print job at a time and to never send something and then leave and not check on it.
Any supprot on this you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Black cartridge is not printing
Black ink cartridge is not printing, fairly new cartridge and had been printing just fine. Status indicates good ink level, so I replaced cartridge, same results on a test page. Cleaned cartridge heads and went through trouble shooting info that I could find. It's one of 5 cartridges and the other 4 are printing.

info not centered
I have cut and pasted a picture to a word document and added some verbage also. When I look at the print preview it looks good and centered, however when I print it, it is way over to the R. I have tried everything I can think of. I have turned it into PDF first, I have used control E to center it, I have used the picture printer and tried to put 2 pictures to a page and it always prints to the R side.

HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw) updated firm ware and now my 3rd party toner cartridges do not work
I did a firmware update two days ago and now my printer does not recognize my 3rd party toner cartridge. The printer now is unless and will not work. I was on line with tech support in india for 2 hours. They claimed this was a hardware protection software update and my 3rd party toner was the cause of the permanent damage to my printer. When I asked them if I would go out and purchase genuine HP toner cart. they said it should mostly likely work. So I then asked if my perfectly functioning 3rd party cart. would not work due to the damage why would HP's work fine.I asked them directly several times was this software to stop me from using none HP products they finally said no! So I asked them how is it possible to run the printer on HP toner with it permanent damage allegedly caused by the 3rd party product and still run fine with only HP products. They refused to answer that question directly.
I am extremely frustrating with my interaction with tech support as they refused to assist me in removing the updated software. I have a completely useless printer as I will not be spending $400 on their HP toner.
Based on several other posts on this issue I think a good Class Action attorney should look into this issue and HP's unethical trade practices and go after them.
If HP tech support does not give me a software fix to this issue I will no longer by purchasing any HP products.
