Paper won't feed, appears to be catching on something in the printer.
My MFP M277dw will not feed paper most of the time. Each sheet goes in about two inches, then fails with a dent or fold in the leading edge, about 3 inches from the left edge. The paper is left lying on the feed tray, it never really gets into the paper path. I get the "out of paper" message, and sometimes a paper jam message. I can see no obstructions. About one sheet in 3 or 4, it works fine.

SO THE QUALITY OF THE PRINTED PAGE APPEARS VERY POOR..

Printer not working USB issues
My printer is unable to print only from the internet ever since the automatic update was made to Windows 10. It is stating that the USB composite device is an older USB and might not work with USB 3.0. I have never had an issue before and I have tried all the different ways I can find to fix it yet it still won't work. The HP website recommended some steps, the first one wants you to search for change device installation settings when I find it and try clicking it, it just sends me to the settings home.

Private Printer
Hi,
I am connected to a school network and people are using my printer without my permission. Is it possible to make my printer private but I can still print wirelessly (as there is wifi throughout the entire campus and this is extremely helpful).

copying
I have a HP Laserjet M276. It has been working fine except today it started printing a previous copy or print when copying. The new (or target paper) in the paper tray is new and clear. Nothing is on the printer glass or loaded in the feed tray. Yet, when I select copy, an image appears on the copied paper.
How might I stop this?

factory reset of officejet pro 8630
when trying to restore factory default settings on the printer touch pad it says its restoring but has been over 24 hrs and still no change. I have tried this twice with the same result. I then entered the printers IP in my browser and went to settings to restore that way and after clicking yes to restore settings I get the following error: (pgFactoryDefaults-408)

blots of magenta on paper
Hi,
I hope someone can help me with my printing issues. I have a HP 5500dtn and I've been getting blots of magenta at random places on my papers when I print. When I open the ETB, I see traces of magenta ink on the transfer unit. I've tried wiping it but this keeps happening. Any advice?

hp color laser jet pro MFP m177fw doesn't connect to LAN
Since some days the printer doesn't conntect via the LAN. I already exchanged the LAN cable, because I thought it might be faulty but no difference.
What I start the printer and check in my router I see some other connected devices but not the printer, although the printer shows me in it's menue an IP Address. I guess it still has i from the good old days, when it still worked.
So running the HP Managr to connect the device is useless, when it isn't in my network. Also the printer menue states, that it isn't connected.
How to proceed? How do I get my device to connect again to the LAN? Can I rease the IP Address and let it pick a new one?

Does a MFP (like M426fdn) require drivers for only printing?
Does Multi Function Printers (like the HP M426fdn) have the same type of built in printer servers as "standard" networked printers typically have? E.g. is it possible to print a PostScript document without installing any drivers, only by sending the content to port 9100 of the printers IP-address? OR I will I have to install drivers in the operating systems, just to do simple prints? (I understand that I might have to do more for scanning).

We recently had issues using our HP Officejet 7612 after the Windows 10 upgrade. We finally managed to sort that but now cannot use the A3 print option or duplex printing. Any ideas?

Device Error Press OK
Last week, i started getting the Device error press OK. it seems the printer constantly is in that cleaning mode. it will print a page, then shows the error, press ok, it will print another page, then shows the error. over and over. i have unplugged from the wall to reset. I have checked the paper size. IS there a way to shut off that cleaning mode?

tplink print server with hp laserjet
i have purchased tplink print server and am connecting laserjet m175a with it i have configured ps and got it working as 192.168.1.7 i can ping it i can open web browser but in web browser it shows offline there is no printer shown in it i am badly stuck and need the printer to be connected to ethernet for printing any help as to how i can do it please help

Unable to install SW, Windows 10, Lenovo laptop
I installed the HP printer SW on my new Lenovo laptop in June and all worked fine over my wireless network. Last week the printer no longer registered on the network and after various attempts I removed the previous version of HP SW and have now tried maybe five times to install a new copy - each time the install process halts at 99% and hangs. The SW finds the printer on the network OK, also using my Mac I am able to print using the installed HP SW on that machine.
On the Lenovo I can print using a direct USB connection using the Windows printing software.
In summary:
I removed the old HP SW in full
I deleted the printer from within the HW and printers window
I disconnected the USB cable
Tried to install the HP SW - the installation will not complete
I read somewhere about identifying the HP driver on device manager during the install process and selecting update driver, Ive tried that but the system refuses to make any changes, states the driver is the most up to date.
