M402dn Envelope Printing Problem

I just replaced my HP1200 Laserjet with a HP M402dn laser printer.  The printer prints pages fine but I cannot determine the best way to print envelopes on the new printer.  I tried some suggestions but am missing something.

 

With the Laserjet 1200 I just printed the letter with a mailing address MS Word.   My return address was a default and entered the mailings address and the envelope size, pressed print and the 1200 did the rest.  What I need is to better understand I print envelopes on the M402.  I am using tray 1 which is the upper tray for the envelope feed but am lost after that.

Error message on Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw

The printer will not print & I get the following error message when I click print: "Manual Feed - Plain Letter - Press OK to continue".  

When I went onto the HP website & did the diagnostic it suggested I update the printer so I did but that did not solve the issue.  Please advise.   I reset the service to factor default but that didn't help either.  Thanks for any advice to get the printer working again.

Hi,

 

 

I have HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251n that I bought few years ago. I need to know if this is capable of connecting to the WIFI without connecting it to the network cable? If yes, how can I do this? If not, is there such printer? What would you recommend? I need something like this model from HP.

hp mfp m175nw printer connection issues

After replacing my wireless router, i had a nightmare trying to connect the printer to the new one. After much help from the forum, i have manage to connect it! It has printed once and has now disconnected it's self with a new error message!

 

"The WPA authentication method on your HP printer has been changed from the default setting. This may cause problems when connecting to your wireless network if your wireless router is not using the same WPA authentication method"

 

As i said, i managed to re-install it, passed a network test report, printed successfully through wireless, and now this message. Have'nt changed a thing on the settings!

Losing the will to live and about to launch the printer into the garden! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Toner Leakage M553

M553n Enterprise printer - With only 3000 pages printed there is lots of toner leaking around the yellow and cyan cartridges. Vacuumed this away but it comes back again. Help!

M130FW control panel screen stopped working immediately

I bought this printer yesterday, a LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw. Everything worked when I set it up, including the control screen panel and the scanning/copying/printing. The wi-fi was working, and I used the cd to set everything up on the computer as well as through the control panel. Today, 12 hours later, the control screen panel has completely stopped working. It remains black and off or occasionally just a blank white screen. I've tried resetting, a hard reset, and unplugging everything and replugging, and every other solution that I found in the forums.

Need to change way HP LaserJet 1200 connects

Somehow this older printer has now been set as a network printer-it does not have that capability. After uninstalling and re-installing the printer, I was able to print a test page, but unable to print a document. 

 

This printer should connect via USB which is how, I thought, I set it up. Please help!

connect HP LaserJet M452nw to Linksys WRT54G router with no WPS button

I am connecting an HP laserJet M452nw printer to a LInksys WRT54G router with no WPS button.  I followed the instructions in the set up installation and conected the computer to the printer with the USB cable so the printer could access the wireless network information via the computer.  The screen tells me the product is connected, then shows the percent of the process done, counting up to 99% over about 5 minutes.  It hangs up there and then gives me a message that an install process took too long to execute and this is  fatal error.  I have run this about 4-5 times.  I am not finding a alternative way to get the printer to connect to the wireless network.    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I installed a new Comcast modem. Now I can't print. message is printer is offline. I deleted printer and reinstalled. I print wireless. I hooked usb cable and tried again no luck.

Printer will scan and copy, but will not print

My LaserJet M1212nfMFP worked fine until I got a new computer that operates on Windows 10.  Then it stopped printing and the Print and Scan Doctor told me it was "not connected."  However, it continued to scan and copy with no problem.  I  carried out all of the recommendations of the Print and Scan Doctor (print spool, USB port changes, etc,) and nothing worked.  I finally called for help (and paid for it because I was out of warranty).  The first person took over my computer and supposedly fixed the problem, but it recurred.  I called again (and another person tried) and again, after about a month it recurred again.  If I call again I will have to pay again--and I don't want to throw good money after bad.  All Windows 10 drivers were updated as of the last repair one month ago and my messages say there are no new drivers to add.  I do not want to keep paying for service that does not repair the problem. Can you help me or do I need to buy a new printer.

Hp Photosmart C4280 - Cartridge missing or damaged

Good evening veryone,

 

I have some problems with my  HP Photosmart C4280 printer. It shows me this message: "Cartridge missing or damaged". I have tried everything I red on internet but nothing worked. I am desesperated. I don't know how to make it work. I also tried to use a new cartridge but nothing, it seems not to be the solution. 

Help me!! If someone of you has some suggestions, answer me please.

Brand new, and it wont print in color !

Yes i went to additional settings, and clicked on "color"....it wont stay there. Reverts to black and white before i even get to print that page !!!

Mixing letter and legal paper printing in the same document automatically

Is it possible to load letter paper in tray 1 and legal paper in tray 2 and print a pdf document that contains both sizes and have the printer shift back and forth from tray 1 to tray2 as the paper size in the document changes without manual intervention?

A perfect print copy appears every time, but a 2" yellow hue/yellow band appears in the middle of the paper.

 

Solution? -- as this is a brand new printer with the cartridge levels at "full."

Which Input Tray to use for Labels

Can I use the Main Input Tray (Tray 2) to print Avery labels or do I have to use the Primary Input (single sheet) Tray (Tray 1) to print Avery Mailing labels (# 5160)?  I have 5 sheets of lables to print.

 

The Printer's user manual was not clear on this and I don't want to jam the printer.

Faxes not going through

Hi all,

 

I just noticed that the fax on our HP LaserJet 700 color MFP M775 stopped working, we are no longer able to send or receive faxes. When sending a fax I get an error on the screen that reads: "fax failed cfaxresultnone" 

 

I upgraded the firmware on it to the latest and I continue to have the same problem.

 

I verfieid that the issue is not from the provider by plugging in a phone in that port and calling the number I got the call.

 

When I go to check the logs I see the following error:

An unknown error has occurred on this page and has been logged. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is likely due to an error in page functionality. Try the links provided to return to a functional page.

 

Any help is appreciated.
