Hi. I have an Officejet 8500 A909g printer which recently stopped working when I upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 (64 bit). I have located the correct full-featured drivers and software and attempted to install but this hasn't worked. Once downloaded, I run the .exe file and it appears to extract. However, nothing happens after this. When I look on task manager I can see HP Installer Setup 32 bit and HP Webpack 32 bit. On the HP website it correctly selects Windows 8.1 64 bit, so it recognises that I have the 64 bit version of Windows. Have HP uploaded the 32 bit version of the software and listed it under 64 bit? If not, what would cause the install package to be listed as 32 bit? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
