Cannot print in color from Chromebook
When I print from my Chromebook, the print is always in B&W even if I select color printing.
I am using WiFi direct, as Google Cloud print is still in state "Registering" on the 3rd day.
Color printing works fine from e.g. an Android device.
The printer says the firmware is the newest version.
I have tried to install HP Print for Chrome and reboot the chromebook.
I have also tried to remove the printer in the chromebook and add it again.
Still no color.

How to reset to factory - unit has never worked properly

Suddenly service error 49 appears and won't go away
We have enjoyed this printer for a few years now, and then today Service Error 49 appeared and will not go away. I've tried all the steps suggested in the HP support pages: turning off & on, unplugging, restarting network, updating firmware, drivers, resetting system etc. Nothing works. Because the printer is about 5 years old, HP doesn't seem to offer any live support. I can't even pay for support. The chatbot 'virtual assistant' refuses to acknowlege my problems, and keeps misinterpreting my messages as 'service error 79'. Can anyone help? Thank you

Printer - HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M225-M226 suddenly won't connect to network
My HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M225-M226 suddenly won't connect to my wireless network. Usually, just powering off the unit and/or resetting my wireless router will resolve the issue, but none have been successful, I printed a wireless network test report from the printer and it passed on "Wireless On", "Wireless Working" and "Network Name SSID Found", but fails on "security" . I ran the Scan doctor and everything passed. I also reinstalled the drivers, but when I tried to connect it to the network via the USB printer cable it didn't work. It always tells me the network passphrase (wifi passcode) is bad.

Initializing screen error stucked on LaserJet Pro MFP125nw

Hi.
I really appreciate if you let me know if there's any action could be done before visiting HP support service center.
the following error of (initializing) is appearing now for more than 24 hours in spite of the following actions.
1) restore to factory settings has been performed twice.
2) Firmware update has been updated using the HP recommended software action.
3) Hard reset has been done.
I would really appreciate getting your response on this, giving the exams season in place.

Envelopes not printing properly on M15W
I have purchased HP LaserJet Printer to use for my small business needs. It does not print properly on envelopes #10 size. When I print the print comes to the bottom side of the paper. I tried different methods and checked my settings many times. Everything seems fine but it doesn't print properly. Any help with this issue?

59.C0 - HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn
Hi,
We have problem with a printer HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn. The issue 59.C0 has appeared after removing stuck paper.
We tried: Remove all toner, power cycle the printer and re-install one at a time, closing the access door each time before inserting another. See if one of the supplies seems to trigger the error.
Nothing helps.
We appreciate more information or a piece of advice.

Ghost printing on NEW printer Laserjet M607
We are having a problem printing from a brand new Laserjet M607. When printing on pre-printed forms, it prints a "shadow" image of the form, which appears offset by a few inches, behind the actual printout. On other printouts, such as a config page, It print light grey streaks over the vertical length of the page. This problem occurred with an older printer of the same model. a new one was ordered, and the same exact thing is happening on the NEW printer. Because it is new, right out of the box, I am not willing to believe it is a bad toner cartridge or fuser.

Can't change default tray
My printer has suddenly developed a mind of its own. It has unilaterally decided that it wants to print from tray 1, which I never use and it can't be persuaded out of this. Sometimes I can get around this by pressing the button for "all available media", but at other times it presents me only with "cancel", which means nothing gets printed. A bit of a trial.

Mfp m277cp wont print
Printer all of a sudden stopped printing.. I use a USB connection direct to Pc.. Win 7 Pro. Triwd updating printer and Pc. Ran Hp Printer Dr many times. Uninstaller and reinstalled printer software 5 times at least. Print Dr software gets to test print test page and it prints nothing. Sends to printer.. and que empties but no printing. When Print Dr asks if anything printed and I say no it asks to print internal test page and that works sometimes.. Print Dr says software problem but as I stated I can't really count how many ti.es I have uninstalled and reinstalled printer software... this just started outta the blue..

How to reset admin password for MFP M283fdw printer?
I saw this question a few times but the guy answering sent resolutions in PMs and that doesn't help anyone else.
I set the password on my Laserjet M283fdw and forgot, or mistyped it. You can't click on Services>Factory Defaults becuase you need the password to get there. There is a Youtube video out there that shows how to reset it via the touch screen on the printer: Factory Reset HP LaserJet M277dw - YouTube
What I did is shut off the printer. unplug it, hold the power button down for 15-30 seconds to discharge residual power and because that's what i do with everything else. Then plug it back in. press the power button, wait until you see the black screen with the loading bar appear, touch and hold your finger to the touch screen ( seems to be anywhere, I pressed in the middle) until you see "Permanent Storage Init.". Take your finger off. try to get into services> system setup, it should work now.

Laserjet 8150 fuser error even after replacing the fuser twice
Hello! I've been using my Laserjet 8150 for years, but recently I got a 50.1 fuser error, so I replaced the fuser, and unfortunately the error remains. To make sure the replacement was not also broken, I got yet another OEM fuser, and I still get the error.
I've reset the printer, powered off/on, etc. Is there anything I'm missing? Could it be that the printer itself has a problem and is causing the error?

This is the last HP product I ever buy.
This HP printer used to work fine. I bought non ripoff, non HD toner and now it is a doorstop. Half the HD troubleshooter pages, the last ones, don't work. This is the last time I ever buy an HD product. Hope you enjoy my lack of interest in your company.
