Firmware error for LaserJet 400 M451dn finally updated
After many months of trying to get the printer to come alive long enough to print anything, it came to life for the first time in 2020 when I pressed the power button an hour or so ago.
I had already downloaded the firmware dmg ( HP_LaserJet_M350_M450_Series_FW_Update_20190306 )
and it ran through to completion. The printer initialized, rebooted and is now active.
Lesson: Don't give up. And don't try some of the suggestions you may read here. If you can one day get your printer to go on and connect, make sure that you have the firmware ready to install. A great printer and it should not be trashed because no one at HP can offer assistance.

The car got stock in the middle after replacing the ink
After I replaced the ink, and when I close it to continue working, the car did not returned to the right place , and all lights started blinking . message says "carriage jam"

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277n - "Incompatible supply"
Dear all,
I tried to change Cyan ink, but there is an error:
HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277n - "Incompatible <color> supply"
I read something about wrong registration of the printer and ink (can be ROW or EMEA). I have both of them, but does not matter which one I put inside, it shows me same error.
Any hints or idea?

m177fw Cool Down mode
Started to get "Cool Down mode" on my MFP M177fw right after replacing the imaging drum. Have owned the printer for several years and this has never happened before. I have seen other threads referencing some kind of "secret" solution. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. It's happening after printing/copying a single page! I am going crazy.

Duplicate Printing - Surface Device (Printer - MFP M280NW)
Hi all,
Need help with my another issue/problem with this HP MFP printer.
My user who using Microsoft Surface laptop, they are facing duplicate printing for each print jobs sent to this printer.
When a job send to the printer - i can hear the printer running, then it prompt on the screen --> 'Cleaning..." , then, it will stopped showing the error message: "UnExpected Paper Size. Load Oficio in Tray 2. Press [OK] to continue.
My printer has been updated to the latest firmware datecode: 20190716
and the user's surface installed with full printer software suite from HP Drivers/Software. (Release Date: Mar 3, 2020).
The user Windows as well - up to date (Windows Updated).
To avoid from auto load, i personally set it to Tray 2 - A4 Size with Plain paper on both physical printer setting and user setting. However, the problem still persists.

Mirror print
Can't print mirror text. Please help me. It's urgent.

My HP Photosmart 52290E prints faded pages in B&W. Colour prints are OK
When printing B&W documents, the print is faded. I've aligned and cleaned the jets and replaced the Black cartridge (and aligned it again) to no effect. The print diagnostics are Fine.

HP 9050 Fusing problem
After about 200 to 250 sheets printing ok I start getting a ghosting image on the top 1 inch of the page. Looks like the top of the page is not fusing properly. I changed the fuser with a known good one, same problem. I changed the fuser mode to high1 and no change. HELP

Job Storage Feature file format on your flash drive
I would like to tweak the job storage feature by circumventing USB security on a PC that I do not own. I can supply my own printer to a public access government PC, all of their documents are PDF"s but they make you print them because of flash drive security. If I can use the job storage feature to save to a flash drive it would save a lot of paper and money but I need to be able to retrieve the files off the flash drive via a computer so I need to know what format these files are saved as.
has any one ever looked at the flash drive or know what the file format is when using job storage?

how to factory reset factory HP Laserjet Pro 200 color MFP M276 nw
My printer worked fine for years and a few times I registered to new networks after some moves. Now a while back my internet provider changed the modem for a newer one. When I trid to get on the network with this printer I received the error message "invalid WPA passphrase" I tried everything I could think of to solve it. Earlier today I phoned the provider and they tried some things incl. taking the security of the network for a bit but it still would not connect. The only thing what has changed is now when I try to access the network and I choose our network it does no longer ask for a password and now it tells me it can't access the network (all other laptops, phones etc have no problem accessing the network). I have already done a reset through setup/service/restore default but that did not do it for me either. So hopefully it might help to do a factory reset. Can you please email me the steps to follow?
ps on diagnostics summary the troubleshooting does tell me the WPA authentication method on the printer has been changed from the default setting (maybe this happened in me trying to find the solution) Below it states the HP printer settings do not match your wireless router settings.

Printing smudge
Hi,
I was reading another topic about this (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Smudges-down-the-side-of-each-print/td-p/6505248).
My question is, the general consensus was the fuser is at fault, is it possible to just replace the fuser film or does the entire fuser have to be replaced ?

black smudges showing on right margin
I must have changed something when printing out paperwork. A black smudge (looks kind of like wings) now appears all down the right margin side of the paper. I have a LaserJet pro mfp m130nw.

Admin and service password reset on Pagewide Color P77740
I am unable to access the machines administrator or service menus as someone changed the default passwords. How do I clear the passwords, and reenter default passwords? without losing all user data?

lost internet connection 4650 won'treconnect. No network found even though computer is connected
My HP 4650 printer has been wirelessly connected to my Verizon MiFi wireless for 3 years and has worked perfectly. I have not changed anything but now It will not find this network anymore. I have tried to set it up manually with the wizard on the printer but no luck. My laptop and phones stay connected to the wireless but not my printer. I go to the hp website to find the printer on my computer, but because its not connected to internet it does not come up. HELP

Printer won't print black
HI
I changed ink cartridges yesterday. All the other colors print except black, I've installed new driver, clean print heads, inserted cartridge a hundred times. Nothing works, any ideas?
