HP Stream Excel docs printing whole page in black.
I have tried multiple times to print from my HP Stream in Excel to my laser printer, but all test pages print with a black background and I have no background selected.

Scalable Barcode Fonts USB on M608
Hi,
I currently use an HP Scalable Barcode Font (model: HG282TT) on a USB drive in my HP LaserJet Enterprise M506 printer to print a barcode on some reports.
I recently upgraded the printer to an HP LaserJet Enterprise M608, but it doesn't seem to be recognizing the fonts. When I print my reports, the regular text looks normal, but the barcode fonts are erroneous characters.
According to this web page, the font should be compatible with my model printer.

Is there something I need to do in order to enable the barcode font feature on my printer? When I inserted the USB in my M506 printer, it just recognized it....

LaserJet 700 MFP doesn't setup scan to email fusing Office 365
I'm trying to setup our HP Laser Jet 700 MFP printers to scan to email using our Office365 email.
I've read lots of articles and every time I send a test email I get an error screen saying
"The operation failed. Please verify your configuration and try again."
Which doesn't really give me a lot to go on. I've verified the traffic is getting out through the firewall.
I've tried firmware updates and disabled IP 6, downloading and adding the Baltimore Cyber trust certificate to the printer.
One area I'm not sure of is setting the DNS suffixes. It says "
Set the domain name or DNS suffixes.
- If the domain name suffix is not setup, use the IP address in the TCP/IP Domain Suffix area.
- If DNS is required on the network, make sure that the suffix for the e-mail client is listed in the TCP/IP Domain Suffix area (DNS suffixes have a format similar to Gmail.com or companyname.com, etc.)."
Would I add the printers static IP address for the first bullet point? Would the 2nd bullet point be the companyname.com that appears after the @ in our email address' ? That is different from the local domain name.
Or any other tips? I have other devices on the network that are happily sending out email via office365, it's just these printers that are causing me issues.

Can I use 201x cartridge instead of 202x cartridge
I have a MFP M281fdw laser printer. I ordered a new HP cartridge, I received a 201x cartridge, but there is a 202x cartridge in the machine. Can I use it, or am I going to have to return it and get a different one?

out of memory error
Trying to print two page double sided PDF. Claims out of memory, only prints front of first page after I press "OK"
I have tried removing and re-adding printer, I have tried unplugging power for several minutes. Printer is configured as network printer.
Config report says 256MBytes total, 121MBytes available. firmware datecode is 20180205
I also tried printing the document as single sided. First page comes out, then it claims out of memory. Pressing ok results in job cancelled.

Laserjet 1536 Scan OCR
I’m sorry to say that despite 2 years of tinkering, and more hours than I can count, I could never solve this.
- reinstalling doesn’t work
- none of the HP softwares work
- none of the free OCR software is useful
In the end, I bought the new IRIS OCR software. It can do OCR but is far more clunky than the original HP scanner software.
I’m so fed up and spend enough time scanning bills that I just ordered a new scanner/printer last week. We’ll see how it works...

PRINTER CONFIG ERROR
ERROR MSG: unexpected configuration problem 0x80070709
comes whenever I give print command(ctrl+p)
I have already installed the printer drivers correctly and troubleshooter also says printer working perfectly fine and even prints the test page successfully ,but when I try to print a document it keeps rotating and after some time gives the above error

HP LaserJet Professional M1212nf MFP not appearing in HP Easy Scan app for MAC
HP LaserJet Professional M1212nf MFP not appearing in HP Easy Scan app for MAC, I have updated the printer firmware and then deleted the printer from my authorized printers. I have now re-added the printer and deleted the HP Scan app and re installed it. After reseting the wifi router to complete this process HP easy scan still will cannot locate my HP LaserJet Professional M1212nf MFP.

Hard reset of printer
I need to hard reset to factory defaults my HP LaserJet Color Pro CP1525nw. I do not have access to the menus and cannot access it over a network. So a complete reset to factory defaults seems to be my only option. I cannot access the printer via any network and "menu access is disabled" prevents me from using any menu options.

Color LaserJet Pro M254dw prints in greyscale - SOLUTION
After installation, the 254dw printed my colour documents in greyscale, despite printing its "Supplies Report" in colour. There were no instances of the word "greyscale" in the user guide, Printer Preferences or Print Preferences in my installation.
The following fixed the problem:
1. Remove the printer from /control panel/printers (right click on the printer icon)
2. reinstall from the HP support site - NOT THE CD PROVIDED
I followed this path:
1. go to Support.hp.com/
2. navigate to /Software and Drivers/ for the correct printer (I was logged in and had entered the printer in my "dashboard", so it was easy to find after two wasted days on the support site)
3. Click on: [+] Driver-Product Installation Software (2)
4. Click [Download] on the (only) option shown:
[HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw/M254nw Printer Full Software Solution]
5. Run the download
I got rid of the "HP Smart" utility installed by the CD; the new utility seemed better to me.
Hope this saves a gazillion person hours out there.

Power Button just blinks
Why does the power button blink all the time. It is very annoying as the printer is in my bedroom and I see that blinking all night long!! How do I stop the blinking?

HP CM6040 will not boot up (blank display)
I have just tried to turn on the printer, and it is not booting up fully. It makes a few of the usual start-up noises, but then stops and the screen is blank. I have been through the trouble shooting process and stripped out the formatter and tried printing a test page and this prints a sheet with vertical lines and there is a green led on the CPB Not sure what to do next.... Any help appreciated
