I've been having the exact same problem- all my test pages print and scan fine, but anything else I send prints out blank. I've completely deleted and reinstalled all HP software on my computer, cleaned/realligned the print head, checked the ink, tried creating a printer port directly to the IP address, and nothing works. It must be something in the computer/printer connection but I cannot for the life of me figure it out.

Recently my printer started doing this thing where I send a print job and it only prints part of the job (like the last page of 3 pages) or it doesn't print the job at all. My printer is connected, HP utility says good status and connected and all that stuff. And I do not get any error messages on the printer or my laptop when I print. The printer also makes that high pitched dinging noise that it does when it finishes a job even though the job is not done –– so I know it is receiving the job, but just not doing it.
I have tried turning the printer off and on, disconnecting and reconnecting to WiFi, etc., and nothing as worked. The other day it did a job completely but then a few minutes later it was back to its disfunctional state. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My friends remove toner cartridge, remove paper and after this
they has problems putting back toner cartridge.
After some time they has success, but device make problems when
printing.
We test we other cartridge, but the printed paper is the same.
No matter what we print - blank page or page with text it is the same.
How can i try to fix this?
I am having trouble changing paper trays when I want to print something like photos from Tray 1. I have changed the settings, changed the tray, changed the size, and changed the settings in my application. My printer keeps the previous settings (tray), and I'm wasting a lot of ink and paper. It does the same thing when I go the other direction, switching from Tray 1 to Tray 2. I have tried a number of things--including resetting and turning the printer off and back on. Still with the same results. It just seems to change trays when it wants to. What am I doing wrong?
Hello, a few days ago my printer cyan light turned on, because of that I've charged my cyan cartridge today morning, but when I've pushed the cartridge in printer, an error was shown on my pc desktop which is said that the cartridge memory data can not be read!! In your opinion what is the problem? Do you think during charhing the cartridge the chipset damaged??

Pages that print are too light/faint, such that you cannot barely read it. The printer is relatively new (less than 6 months old). We thought perhaps we needed to replace toner but the levels are still quite high. Any thoughts on why this is happening? are there settings that need to be adjusted?

Hi. My hp instant ink was suspended and I'm trying to set it back up but the printer has no ink in to print the page to get the code.. I don't have a digital screen so I cannot do it that way either I'm stuck and have no idea how to sort it Thanks
My printer is temporamental. It often does not print correctly only printing a single garbled line. I swith off everything and it works ok a for little and again plays up. I am on the latest Mac OS
I have this same problem except with Windows 7 64-bit. My printer worked just fine until an update maybe a year ago, and now the computer will not communicate with the printer. Printer prints a test page when I push the large button. I have downloaded every driver available, but always get "printer: error". "Troubleshooting" is useless. I have tried every combination of option settings for the printer drivers.
The fix explained for Windows 10 is not something available in Windows 7. I really want to keep using this printer as it works great - or did before microsoft did something to break the driver/connection. Thanks.
When we are tapping the access card in the printer, We are getting error like the current product configuration is unlicensed and the print jobs are not getting released from the printer.

I am running a Panoramic router in our home with our local COX cable company.
no print jobs reach the printer. error msg is usually "printer offline". tried running print doctor but it freezes up when i try to prin a test page
New printer is printing all jobs with these two lines - it seems to go when more printing jobs are completed but a real nuisance!
I have done a cleaning process and calibration so far but no fix from them.

My printer comes up frequently with an error code 550602 and says I need to shut down and start up the printer, which I do. But often, but not always, this doesn't fix the problem and I have to do it again and again. Can anyone help?

Hi, we are having problems with the printer whereby it intermittently displays "Printer Offline", "Error Printing" or doesnt print until either the PC is rebooted and/or the printer is rebooted. I have loadeded the latest software and drivers, changed the sleep period and set the printer to reload first thing each morning but doesnt seem to have made any difference. Has anyone else come across these problems?

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 suddenly wont print with an error that says Printhead appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed. I have never touched the printhead. Why suddenly is it "missing"? How can I fix? Im using a Mac with OS Mojave
I am trying to get this printer set up on the wireless. I've tried it using the HP Easy Start 2 app both wirelessly and wired. I've restarted my computer several times, ive restored the printer many times . . . nothing seems to work. What happes is that as the Easy Start program is setting up the printer, I either get:
-When setting up wirelessly: Cannot join network, please check user name and password.
OR
-When setting up wired: Please disconnect the USB cord.
I do have the correct Wifi Password and there are no cords connecected to the printer other than the power cable.
When I print a configuration page or look at the config through the web browswer, I can see my printer and mess with it's configuration but I still can't get it to print anything. It will print a test report from the configuration screen but it will not print anything from my computer and I can't see it on AirPrint. The Wireless Configuration shows:
Status: Not Activated
Disconnect the network cable in order to activate the wireless connection.
Again, there are no cables connected to the printer other than the power cable. This is extremely frustrating and I need a quick solution. Otherwise, I'll just take this back as defective and try something other than HP.
