Help!! Had an HP ink jet before getting this laserprinter, just one problem. With the old ink jet i could scan and save to my computer, now I have to scan to email. Absolutely hate this option!!! is there some way for me to scan an item that it saves directly to my computer? Thanks for any input.

Laserjet P1006 Doesn't Work After Win 10 ver 1709 Update On Nov 2017
After Windows 10, version 1709 update was installed, the system saw my P1006 Laserjet and allowed programs to write to that printer. The problem was that nothing ever showed in the Laserjet's print queue. Using Microsoft's problem solving software, it suggested not using a USB 3.0 connection. I plugged the printer into every USB port I had and still problem existed. HP Print Doctor found no problems.
If it will help someone shoot the problem, when I click on About the printer, I get 20130415 (1.0.2.2680), and the dll's are at 2013.415.2.2628.

CM6030 with horizontal faded bands
I have a CM6030 printer which has some print quality issues. The problem is most visible on the yellow/green test page, although the magenta and blue one aren't perfect either. Initially the printer produced very weak (almost invisible) yellow and magenta prints; after replacing the drums for these two colors it was better, but still not perfect as you can see on the attached pictures. I've tried with another toner cartridge and the transfer belt has been replaced, so I'm pretty much out of ideas. It's not the known issue with the plastic lever on the toner cartridge that doesn't open. Does anyone recognize this print quality problem?

HP Laserjet M401dn
Hello. We have an HP LJ M401dn that is having problems feeding envelopes into the manual feeder tray. The user is saying they have to feed one at a time and cannot have multiple envelopes in the tray.
My first thoght is the rollers are just too dirty or the rollers have gone bad. Any ideas?

Can the printer generate a report of how many pages it has printed since we bought it?
I printed the Usage report but wasn't sure if that was the correct report to use. We just want to know how many pages we have printed using this printer. Thanks!

use to be able to scan and save as PDF now after updates can only save as picture such as a jpeg
I updated my printer and now I can not scan as a PDF it only scans as a picture. I have tried finding different options to save and only picture options are available Would like to scan as PDF again.

Memory is Low. Job Cancelled
I have the same issue on an M201dw laserjet. No "Service" Manual is available online and neither the User Guide nor the Replace and Repair Manual contain instructions for the NVRAM reset. Evidently there's no functional HP support over the phone. Can someone help, e.g., instructions for NVRAM reset or something else to try? Thanks.

HP m607 envelope feeder and tray config
we just recently got one of these to replace one of our old 4350's. HP decided to make the envelope feeder its own tray. I set it so the envelopes would be on the bottom tray (tray 5) but the printer says that it is an unknown tray configuration although i manally set all the settings myself. has anyone else experienced this?

HP 4100 Tray 2 Pickup Assembly Replacement
Does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to replace the tray 2 pickup assembly for the HP laserjet 4100? I looked at a few service manuals, and they only have instructions for the tray 1 pickup assembly and makes no mention of tray 2. Thanks!

LaserJet CP2025 won't print in color
Hi,
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. The printer shows no errors but everything prints in b/w and gray scale. Not sure what to do or whether the issue is with the printer settings or with Windows, etc.

HP printer is showing off-line and goes into sleep mode after 5 minutes
I am a new agent for Allstate. All of my computer equipment and printer was set up yesterday by Decus Technology Service and tested last night (11/30) and everything was working properly. We ran several test pages on the printer and scanned documents to it, etc.
Today, 12/1 the printer is now going into sleep mode after 5 minutes and is showing offline when I attempt to print anything. According to your website this is a known issue.
We have verified that printer is connected. It is also showing as an active devise and printer.
Please advise how to correct this issue as soon as possible.

P1006 no longer prints on Windows 10
P1006 printer no longer prints after recent Windows 10 update 1709 for amd64-based systems; apparently the printer driver was reinstalled when I first again tried to use the printer after the Windows update; the driver version is the same as shown on the HP page; the HP Print and Scan doctor indicates it is working but no page prints and there is no error message; test page also does not print. I plugged the printer into a different (Mac) computer and it printed just fine so the printer seems to be functional. My windows 10 system also successfully prints to a P1022 printer so printing seems to be working with other devices, just not the P1006.
