I downloaded updated drivers and software from the official HP website. During installation of one of the updates (which one I cannot remember) the all-in-one printer beeped a couple of times. Ever since then, my HP Pavillion dv7 computer with Microsoft Vista Home Premium does not recognise the printer. The machine will not switch on correctly with the on/off button - the start up signal stops working.
I have tried unstalling and reinstalling all software and drivers without success.
I have tried installing the printer via wireless and USB without success.
I have searched this forum and others for a solution but without success.
I have tried all, what I thought relevant, suggestions without success
Does anyone have any ideas, please.
