If I type the ip address that shows up on my printer's screen into my web browser (per HP's suggestion), I am unable to access that page, which, according to the following:
The computer and the printer are not on the same network
The best way to determine this is to open your web browser (for example Internet Explorer) and type the printer IP address in the address box of the browser (for example, http://192.168.0.5) in order to access the printer home page (also called an EWS or embedded web server). This web page comes directly from the printer, and being able to open and view this web page proves the computer and printer are connected to the same network.
Indicate that my computer and printer are not on the same network. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this issue?
Thanks
