I have a HP Officejet 6500 all in one printer and the first message said General printing error (Ox6101beb), then I did the instructions and it read Ox6100000e. I took out the cable, the cord, took out the cartridges, shut the printer down and waited and then turned everything back on. The printer says refer to printer documentation. What does that mean. It also says the cartridges appear to be missing or damaged. I know there is still ink but changed the cartridge to a new one and it still says refer to printer documentation Ink cartridges appear to be missing or damaged. Any suggestions?
