We have a HP Photosmart C4180 All in One Printer, Scanner and Copier.
Previously it has been set up to enable me to scan a multi page document and save as 1 file. I did this by scanning each page, and then when prompting if I wish to add another page to this file I would selsct yes and continue to scan etc.
We have since had a new computer installed, using the same HP All in One device, I am now unable to scan multipage documents and each page is saved indivually - this is proving to be not only long winded and very time consuming but also not effective with regard to the business I wish to process etc.
The scanning programme will not allow me to select 'Save as PDF' - I am not sure if that has anything to do with it?
And when scanning, the box named 'Preview or scan images as seperate' is unhighlighted and un selected - although this is exactly what is happening when I scan.
I would appreciate any help as I have searched online and asked out IT department and they are unable to help.
