We have an HP ENVY 4500 and had to do a reinstall of the factory image (keeping user data). After rebooting, we saw an error message that we needed to reinstall the software for the printer. After reinstalling all the software, removing the HP software for the printer and reinstalling it (multiple times) we still get the notice when the computer is booted. System is a older machine with Windows XP.
The printer is working fine. How do we eliminate the grump message?
