HP Laserjet 1212 fax setup problem

Hello...

Attempting to install HP LaserJet 1212mf on a client machine (USB).  The printer installed fine but the fax install never started.  When I attempted to start the Fax setup manually, I got an error message saying "Another installation is in progress."  I see nothing running anywhere.  So at this point, I cannot set up the fax.  The printer and scanner functions are working just fine.

Any guidance, please?
