HP Deskjet 3940 Color Inkjet Printer

Greetings,

     Does anybody know if this printer may be used with my Presario CQ62 Notebook PC? I forgot that I had this printer as it was used with my VERY ANTIQUATED DELL Dimension 2300 from 2002. When the DELL finally crashed last fall, I kept the printer...just in case.
