Print troubleshooting

I am using MAC OS 7.5 laptop. I am really frustrated with my brand new HP 6525. I went to purchase this printer on Saturday after spending all day Friday trying to get my HP 6515 to work. I went through all of the procedures suggested on HP website & forums. I decided to buy this new HP 6526 & find the same problems occurring with very bad printing.  The black is not printing mostly blank with some shadows

 

What I have done:

 

1 - many many times tried align & clean print heads on the new HP 6525

2 -  in my old printer HP 6515 & this one HP 6525 I have only used HP ink cartridges

3 - I checked to make sure the problem is not with my computer by printing something on my other printer at my studio. All was fine.

4 - in the installation on Saturday of HP 6525 I was able to print out some documents on the new HP 6525. At first they were a bit faded but I thought after align & print head cleaning it would improve which it did slightly. Then the next day back to the same problem of no black printing or just some faded spots rather than the whold document.

5 - I am using fast print rather than always best print to save on the expensive ink.

6 -I  redid all of  the procedures suggested on HP support & forums for both printers.

7 - checked the enclosed ink cartridges that come with the printer & the ink levels are fine

8-   Nothing on HP website or forums solved the problem so I decided to buy a new 6525.

9 -  same problems with printing occurring with new printer. It is not a problem with my computer. I checked.

I have been a long standing customer of HP & find myself in a situation where I am loosing confidence in their products.
