I would like to receive some assistance on installing the Deskjet 6127 printer on my laptop pc - XP (32-bit). I have performed the following steps: (1) closed all open window programs (2) inserted the printer's installation CD (came with product) and waited for the installation wizard instructions (3) on screen instructions to plug the usb printer cable to pc (printer turned on) ---- a message indicating that it might take a few minutes --- it is at this step that the installation wizard remains (ie. it never does recognize that the usb has been plugged to pc)
If you can provide me with any advice to help me solve this installation problem it would be greatly appreciated.
