It's troubling to realize that HP products are designed to fail after 1.5 years, but's that's been my experience with the last several printers I've purchased. My Photosmart 6510 is 1.5 years old and despite installing all new ink cartridges, trying (unsuccessfully) to align cartridges (yes, I tried to vent), cleaning printheads, installing special diagnostic software (which detects no issue). Wouldn't it be nice to buy products that work? I wouldn't mind the increased price point to mitigate the frustration and bad taste I continue to experience. Not too mention, I just wasted $60 on new ink that I cannot use. Anyone try all of the above and then actually found someone that worked?
