My desktop computer, Dell XPS1, and my HP Touchsmart 309a have been working fine even after upgrading to Windows 8.1 several months ago. No changes have been made. So today I rebooted my HP and got a message to remove my USB, not compatible. So I unplugged it and rebooted the printer... Now even with the USB removed, I am getting the same problem. USB is not connected, but printer is asking me to remove it. Tried a different cable with no luck. I looked for Windows 8.1 drivers on your web site, but already had the latest (driver says it was new from 2010) Tried different cable with no luck. Now I can't even print wireless cause printer freezes with USB not compatible message (again even without USB plugged in) Not sure what else to do?
peace,
