I replaced my old HP computer, which used Windows XP, in my home network system with a new custom built computer running Windows 7. Documents will not print because the computer thinks the printer is "offline", and diagnostics tell me to turn it on. It obviously knows the printer is there because it is able to recognize all of the printer information (name, model, S/N), and I can access the printer EWS. I have downloaded the new drivers for Windows 7, although as soon as I connected the printer the computer found it and installed drivers. I also cannot connect to the computer to use the Direct Digital Filing feature, which I use regularly. Any suggestions?
