You very likely have a bug in the firmware on the CP1525nw laserjet printer. I get "error 49" when the printer connects to an Aerohive AP230 802.11ac access point, but not the Uverse NVG589 modem's wireless which is just b/g/n. It's consistent and repeatable.
It's very likely the firmware on the printer as I have a host of other clients with never an issue. I've updated the firmware from 20101125 to 20140616 and can still repeat this bug.
The "error 49" problem is significant because it renders the printer unusable and unconfigurable until a reset to factory defaults is done while power cycling the printer.
Do you have any newer firmware? 20140616 is the latest I can find on HP's website.
