The printer has been in use for years. This morning one of our work stations with windows xp which has been printing for years was unable to print. Another work station with windows 10 was able to print from ms word and ms publisher and one print from hotmail outlook. Twice we got error messages to shut the printer down then restart. Twice this allowed a print to happen from the internet. When printing from the internet failed, internet information was transferred to ms word. When the printer did not print, our start efforts resulted in finding that when a print was ordered by Windows 10 the printer reported it has spooled the print instruction; and then reported the printer had completed the print on the computer screen---but no print was performed by the printer. All connections appear secure, all lights appear to be on. No known exterally applied changes were made by any computer. Any ideas what next?
