HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-One Printer

I recently reset my router (a D-link DAP 1522 which is being used as a WAP) and I  cannot get the HP 6500 A to connect to the wireless network.  I have unplugged/plugged in the printer, I have re booted the  WAP and home router.  The printer will pick up other WAP addresses in the house, but not the WAP that is adjacent to the printer.  I am operating the router and the 5 GH spectrum.  Is it possible that this spectrum is not compatible with the HP?
