Ready 2 download massage on my CM2330
I try to update the firmware form my printer but by mistake i used the wrong firmware.
After rebooting the printer i have a message on the screen Ready 2 download.
The printer don't react on pressing any button and it is not reachable by the network.
Try to do a reset by powerup and pushing ringt arrow+cancel without result.
Can anyome help me with this issue.

Advice to Resetting the Admin password for M181
Setting the webserver admin password (twice in this dialog) seems not working.
It is not possible to login.
Please send me instruction to set it back or startover on factory reset.

Windows 10 - Job takes 1 to 1.5 minutes to print a job including test page
On a Windows 10 64 Bit PC, I downloaded and installed the latest M404n 64 bit PCL6 Win 10 driver (LJM404-M405_UW_Full_WebPack_48.3.4530.exe). When I try to print a test page or print from any app (such as word) it is taking almost 1 to 1.5 minutes before the print job shows up in the Windows Print spooler to print. Once it shows in the queue, it prints quick. So then I thought maybe it's a bad printer cable. So I swapped the USB cable. Still have the same issue. So then I deleted the printer from Devices and Printers, I unplugged the USB cable from the printer, rebooted the PC and then I went to the Printer Server Settings in Devices and printers and deleted the404n driver and installed the universal print driver 64 bit. PCL6.
I then installed the Universal Driver (upd-pcl6-x64-6.8.0.24296.exe) and tried to print. This time I was able to print a test page, but for some reason, when printing using the stamps.com app and try to print an envelope, I get multiple pages that print with garbage from time to time. Some envelopes print fine, others get the garbage. So then I thought I'd use the Print and Scan Doctor. The Print and scan Doctor 5.1 detects the printer, but keeps showing the printer is offline even though it's online and I can print a Windows Test page or print from Word just fine. So I figure I would download the HP LaserJet Pro M404_M405 Series Firmware Update Utility. I run the utility, but the firmware utility does NOT detect the printer. This is so strange. So then I delete the printer from Devices and Printers, unplug the USB cable from the printer, reboot the PC. I then reinstall the M404n PCL6 X64 driver again, and I delete the Universal Driver from the Windows Print Server in Devices and Printers. Now I plug the USB cable back in, and try to print a Windows Test page again. Same long delay again.. 1 to 1.5 minutes before the test page shows in the print spooler. I try to update the firmware again, and once again, the firmware utility doesn't find the printer.
I am at a loss why there is such a long delay in printing with this 404n. The404n replaces a 402n printer that had fuser problems. The user had no issues on Win 7 printing from stamps.com until the printer died. When the printer died. we swapped out the PC since the user was using a pretty old Dell, and she was upgraded to a Dell Optioplex 3060 Win 10 64 bit PC and she got the M404n. The tech that initially installed the printer noticed the delay in printing and decided to use the universal driver to get around the problem, but now the client is having problems printing from the stamps.com app, and that is why I wanted to try the m404n model specific driver again. Any suggestions?

User name or password is incorrect using scan to email function
I have a HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fnw that is connected by WiFi to my MacPro laptop. I have used the scan feature numerous times over the last 4 months to scan to either my ATT email account or my Google email account. Today it will not scan because it says the username or password is incorrect. But I do not see any way to find out where to locate the place it keeps my username or password.
This seems to be a very common problem with HP printers, but I have not seen a simple solution on any of the posts.
Can you help?

How to print legal paper on MFP 29w
I am trying to print a pdf formatted to print on legal paper and definitely want to print it on legal paper. I can't find where or how to select legal paper as a paper size. How to I get it to print legal size?

"Load Glossy Paper 150g" after printing
Hi all,
We have a LaserJet MFP M281FDW that after printing displays an error "Load glossy paper 150g A4" and then prints a blank piece of paper. The error message can be cleared and the printer itself prints fine, however this error is an annoyance since it's supporting an office of 3 - who have to clear the error and replace the blank piece of paper each time. The settings for the paper all look fine on the printer, machines and also our print server. When I changed the tray setting on each printer to print from tray 2 (loaded with normal A4), the printer worked fine with no error - however this changes back to "automatically select" after a couple of hours, even when set on the print server.
It's driving me and the office mad!
Any suggestions?

HP Laserjet M1120 MFB does not work properly USB connected to new Lenovo laptop.Driver not OK?
The printer is in Windows printer list with a notice "No driver"
Some programs still regognize the printer and can print, but some don't find any printer.
Lenovo has updated a driver marked "HP Printer - 4/22/2009 ... - 10.0.17119.1"
I tried to find a driver in HP site. Found a driver "ljM1120-hb-pnp-win64-fi", downloaded it.
But these drivers did not change the situation.

Printer is printing every page all black & is making a horrible noise before it prints???
I use a HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fmw color MFP printer. When the printer starts to print it makes a horrible grinding noise & then prints the first 18 pages all black. I have cleaned the inside of the printer. I have changed out all of the toner cartridges. Nothing has gotten stuck or jammed in printer. I do not know what is causing the toner to dump on each page.

HP laserjet pro pcl xl error
Hi so I have a network and a printer connected to it. The printer is HP LaserJet Pro M252dw PCL-6. Two months ago it started doing something really annoying. From the basic PC that controls the network it prints just fine but from any other PC it's automatically printing on Letter instead of A4 (we only work on A4 paper) and when I change it manually to print on A4 it prints the document (whatever file it is) but also prints a 2nd page with the following message:

I've tried many different things including firmware update and normal update but nothing worked. Please help it's really irritating not to mention that we kill more trees just by printing all those extra A4 with the error message!!!
